Is there a way to share my Mac’s VPN connection over Wi-Fi without using an ethernet cable? Unfortunately my iMac is nowhere near the router so I can’t use an ethernet cable. All the guides I’ve read say that due to the Mac’s limitation you can’t be connected to.
The ROKU can connect to the iPhone hotspot, but the moment you enable the iPhone hotspot you disconnect the VPN (and vice versa). The Roku can connect to the hotel wifi readily enough, but has no VPN client capability. It’s probably moot though. I don’t think the iPhone’s hotspot is likely to provide enough bandwidth for video streaming anyway.
