It’s probably your modem not doing VPN pass-through. You can try and turn all security measures off like the firewall and see if that helps. I’d also try connecting via your friend’s/colleague’s netowrk connection to see if the problem goes away. That way you’ll know it’s not your MBP.


Probably the routes on the mac that are not set. if you open a terminal and type in netstat -r, you should see if there is a route to your internal network through the vpn connection.
